Logical Model

The following list describes the necessities to extend the Logical Model.

• An entity or attribute is missing on the Instance Layer (Canonical Interface). For more information, see Creating an Instance Layer Model.
• An entity or attribute is missing on the Master Layer. For more information, see Creating a Master Data Layer Model.

Reference Data Mastering

Translation and Master dictionaries may need to be extended or added. For more information, see Adding Reference Data.

Transformations

The following list describes the transformations.

• Cleanse
  • Cleansing requires some specific rules or streams for a newly connected system.
• Match
  • Unification rules can be modified or extended.
  • Selection rules (center or survivor) setting up priorities may need to be redefined.
  • Unification structures may require some extensions.
• Merge
  • Selection rules setting up priorities may need to be redefined.

Export Operation

• Some new export or system-oriented export may be required. For more information, see Adding an Export Operation.
• Newly processed data may or may not be required in existing export operations. You can adjust the current setting.

Event Handler and Publisher

• Data changes may be required to be newly published. For more information, see Adding an Export Operation.
• Data changes of a new connected system may or may not be available and published in existing publishers. You can adjust the current setting.

Native Services

Some requests and responses will be enriched by a new origin or source system definition.
