You can configure WebFOCUS Managed Reporting to authenticate users to an external source or to trust that authentication has already taken place, while maintaining information about your users, their privileges, and their access rights in the built-in security repository. This allows you to manage your users with the Managed Reporting Administration interface without maintaining passwords in Managed Reporting.
