New Relationship on the Master Layer

A relationship can be created between two existing master or (virtual) instance entities, where the parent entity has one attribute set up as a primary key (must be the ID attribute) and the child entity has one attribute set up as a foreign key (user defined, usually <parent_entity_abbreviation>_id). Only single-attribute keys are supported.

Logical Model

The (virtual) instance entity can be added to be able to create a relationship between the master and mentioned (virtual) instance entity. For more information, see Creating a Master Data Layer Model.
Enabled Matching on a related instance entity can enable you to create a relationship between both two master entities and master and (virtual) instance entity. For more information, see the example found in Enabling Matching on an Instance Entity.
