iWay Enterprise Index (iEI) provides a secure, user-friendly way to search iWay Service Manager (iSM) messages for specific content, regardless of the order or context in which the content criteria appears in the message.

iEI enables you to make Key Word Out of Context (KWOC) inquiries to all messages that pass though iSM, and provides security to prevent unauthorized parties from accessing information for which they do not have access rights.

The components of iEI include:

• iWay Service Manager, which transforms disparate data forms into a uniform message format.
• Search appliance (for example, Google or Apache Lucene), which indexes message data for content and security protocols, and regulates access to data.
