WebFOCUS Variable Table

Variables are collected and placed in the memory-resident WebFOCUS variable table where they can be used for local processing and in the communication between the WebFOCUS components. The following diagram illustrates the components from which variables are collected before being stored in the WebFOCUS variable table.

You can change the values of many WebFOCUS variables easily using the WebFOCUS Administration Console described in WebFOCUS Administration Console. WebFOCUS variables for core processing are discussed in WebFOCUS Client Core Processing Details, and WebFOCUS variables for Managed Reporting processing are discussed in Managed Reporting Processing Details.
