WebFOCUS Client Core Processing Details

Topics:

This chapter describes WebFOCUS core processing. It describes the processing flow for some typical types of requests with details about the script files, cookies, and variables used in the processing.

A self-service application is an application whose interface is created by a developer to execute and format reports. In a self-service environment, only the WebFOCUS Client and WebFOCUS Reporting Server are installed.

Important: The WebFOCUS CGI/ISAPI Client is no longer installed by default. For information about how to install and configure WebFOCUS CGI and ISAPI functionality, see your WebFOCUS and ReportCaster Installation and Configuration manual for your platform.
