The following are known accessibility issues when using
InfoAssist:
- When working with
a report, if you select Description from
the Data Panel group and then switch to Document view, the Data
Panel will revert back to Title, which is the correct behavior.
However, the drop-down menu will still continue to show that Description
is selected, which is incorrect.
- In the Filter
dialog box, the Fetch Values From Disk File option in the Values
drop-down menu opens a dialog box that does not work correctly when
using the Tab key.
- In the Filter
dialog box, the up and down arrows do not function correctly when scanning
the list of values. The alternative is to type the desired values
into the edit box.

of the keyboard.

The following are known issues
when using the Firefox browser with InfoAssist:
- For chart queries, if you select options
from the Features or Labels menus in the Format tab, the options
do not appear in the chart and the Firefox browser freezes upon
saving. It is recommended to not use Firefox if you plan on selecting
options from the Features or Labels menus for chart queries.
- When using Personal InfoAssist, the
Close and Exit buttons do not work by default. The Firefox default
settings must be changed to make these buttons work. To enable this
functionality, edit the following file, search for dom.allow_scripts_to_close_windows,
and set the value to true.
<drive>:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\greprefs\all.js
Note: In Firefox 3, the close
button works, but the Exit button does not work. After multiple
closes, the close button stops working.
- PDF
output does not display correctly when the output target is set
to Single Tab (the default) or New Tab. The alternative is to select
an output target of Single Window or New Window.
- When working with
a report, if you select Description from the Data Panel group and then
switch to Document view, the data source fields will return back
to Title even though Description remains selected on the drop-down menu.

Note: Later
version browsers with faster JavaScript engines do not encounter
this issue.

character is created.

- The font
size does not display correctly in the Traffic Light dialog box
for a report that is saved and reopened.
