Configuring WebFOCUS iViews

After you have imported the .PAR file, you can configure WebFOCUS iViews for the SAP Enterprise Portal.

Procedure: How to Configure WebFOCUS iViews

To configure WebFOCUS iViews:

  1. Logon to the SAP Enterprise Portal.

  2. Click Content Administration in the top pane followed by Portal Content.
  3. Right-click the WebFOCUS77 folder, select New and click iView.

    The iView Wizard opens.

  4. Select Portal component and click Next.

    The Portal Archive Selection pane opens.

  5. Select the .PAR file that was previously imported (com.ibi.pct.opswfiviews) and click Next.

    The Portal Component Selection pane opens.

  6. Select the iView that you would like to configure, for example Domain, and click Next.

    The General Properties pane opens.

  7. Provide the iView Name and iView ID, and click Next.

    The Summary pane opens.

  8. Review the information and click Finish.

    The iView is added and a new tab for the iView, for example, WFDomain, is displayed in the right pane.

  9. Select Open the object for editing, and click OK.

    The Property Editor - WFDomain pane opens.

  10. From the Property Category drop-down list, select OPS iView Security.

    If you plan to use the user mapping option with the system that was previously defined, providing a value in the OPS iView Trusted Key field is not required.

    If you are not planning to use the user mapping option, then select no from the OPS iView User Mapping drop-down list. You must also provide a value in the OPS iView Trusted Key field. This value can be found in the cgivars.wfs file, which is located in the following directory:

    drive:ibi\WebFOCUS77\client\wfc\etc\cgivars.wfs

    In this file, the IBIMR_TRUSTED_KEY parameter contains the trusted key value.

  11. Repeat this procedure for each WebFOCUS iView you want to configure.
