Installation Requirements

In this section:

Prior to installing the WebFOCUS Pagelets, the following components must be installed:

Windows 2000 Server or Windows NT 4.0 Server.
Internet Explorer Version 5.0 or higher.
PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 8.1 or higher.
WebFOCUS Business Intelligence Dashboard Version 7 Release 7.02. For more information, see the WebFOCUS Business Intelligence Dashboard Installation and Configuration for Windows manual.

USE_GATEWAY Parameter

The WebFOCUS Open Portal Services Gateway is not supported for the PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal. As a result, you must log in to the WebFOCUS Administration Console and change the value of the USE_GATEWAY parameter to NO, as shown in the following image.

SEC_TOKEN_TIMEOUT Parameter

When you are configuring WebFOCUS components for the PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal, you must also define and provide a value for the SEC_TOKEN_TIMEOUT parameter in the WebFOCUS webconfig.xml file.

The timeout value can be measured in seconds or minutes and the default value is 10m.

The WebFOCUS webconfig.xml file is located in the following directory:

ibi\WebFOCUS77\config

Optional Portal Parameters

WebFOCUS Open Portal Services provides the following optional parameters when configuring your portal:

RESTRICT_WOAS_TO_IP
PORTAL_SIGNON_TRIM_WINDOWS_DOMAIN
