As explained in Managed Reporting Sign-on Processing, the Dashboard logon page creates a Dashboard session for the user and then makes a Managed Reporting sign-on request. Depending on your configuration, the Dashboard logon page may require the user to supply an ID and password or it may transparently extract the user ID from the request object. The LOGIN_JSP setting in the install_dir/WebFOCUS/worp/conf/bid-config.dtd file determines which logon page is used. Initially this setting is configured to use the WORP_Login.jsp page, which is an interactive logon page that includes a change password button.

The following variables are used with a Dashboard sign-on request:

• WORP_USER is the Managed Reporting user ID (IBIMR_user) that will be used to log on to the Dashboard or View Builder.
• WORP_PASS is the Managed Reporting password (IBIMR_pass) that will be used log on to the Dashboard or View Builder.
• IBIWF_language is a value used to specify which language will be used for the Dashboard.
• WORP_MPV is used to identify the view (group or public) to which the user is connecting.
• GroupName is used for a Group View logon.
• WORP_REQUEST_TYPE describes what type of logon request is being issued. This may be a Personal View, Group View, or the View Builder.
