Setting Up Your Data Mart Connection

You can follow the standard installation procedure, and when the procedure is completed, your DBA needs to create a database and connection for your server.

Procedure: How to Create a Database and Connection

Using the SQL DDLs provided by Information Builders for your RDBMS, create the structure of a production database (PMF_Datamart).
In the WebFOCUS Server Console, create a connection named mainstreet, or modify an existing connection as needed.
Point mainstreet to the new database.
Go to the verification procedure described in Verifying an Installation or Upgrade.
