This section provides an overview of the WebFOCUS GIS Viewer for Flex components that are available to integrate WebFOCUS with ESRI technologies.
The Map component provides the following options:
The Live Maps dialog box allows you to set layer visibility, layer options, and add map services.
When you zoom in to a specific area on the map, the Overview Map dialog box displays a miniature full extent view of the map with the zoomed in area highlighted.
The Bookmarks dialog box allows you to quickly access points of interest on the map that have been identified as bookmarks.
The Print dialog box allows you to print the current map view that is displayed in your Web browser. You can also specify a title and subtitle for identification purposes that will appear on the printed copy.

The Navigation component provides the following options:
Switches the map pointer (selection tool) to zoom in mode.
Switches the map pointer (selection tool) to zoom out mode.
Zooms out the map view to a level that fits the screen and provides an overview of the map.
Switches the map pointer (selection tool) to the hand tool, which allows you to click and drag the current map view.

The Tools component provides the following options:
The Draw dialog box allows you to draw points, lines, shapes, and enter text directly on the map. You can also specify the color and size of the graphic or text.
The Identify dialog box allows you to display more information for a specific point on the map (for example, the type of crime).

The WebFOCUS component provides the following options:
The Report dialog box allows you to run the WebFOCUS report procedures that are available for each currently visible layer on the map.
The Map dialog box allows you to run the WebFOCUS map rendering procedures that are available for each currently visible layer on the map.
The Identify dialog box allows you to run the WebFOCUS identify procedures that are available for each currently visible layer on the map.
The Synthetic Layer Widget dialog box allows you to set layer transparency and layer visibility options for synthetic layers.
The Advanced Data View dialog box allows you to navigate to single records or a group of records in the viewer.

The Help component provides the following options:
Opens the online help for the viewer in a new browser window.
Opens the Information Builders Web site in a new browser window.
Opens the ESRI Web site in a new browser window.
Opens the ESRI Resources Web site in a new browser window.
Opens the About dialog box in the viewer, which provides version information.
