Using the Output Portlet

In Version 7 Release 7.02, the Output portlet is available for JSR 168 compliant portlets.

If an Output portlet is added to the same portal page as a Domain, Report, or Favorites portlet, then every report that is executed using those portlets will display in the Output portlet. The Output portlet also remembers the last report that was executed. In addition, if the Output portlet is minimized, then any report that is being executed will display in a separate window.

Output Portlet Parameters

The following section lists and describes parameters for the Output portlet that must be specified when adding it to an Enterprise Portal.

view

This parameter is used by the content URL to identify the WebFOCUS component you are accessing.

Enter output for this parameter value.

showproperties

Enter yes or no to enable or disable the showproperties option.

height

The height of the frame in pixels.

The default height is 350 pixels.

title

The formal name of the WebFOCUS component, for example, WebFOCUS Domain. This is the value that appears in the title bar for the component.

Specify the following context path:

trustedkey

The value of the IBIMR_TRUSTED_KEY parameter that is available from the cgivars.wfs file. The trustedkey parameter is used by the WebFOCUS component for security purposes.

expiration-cache

The amount of time that the content of a WebFOCUS component is retained in cache before it is cleared.

By default, cache expiration is not enabled.
