Procedure: How to Perform a Trace on Windows
  1. In the iWay Software, iWay 77 DataMigrator Server program folder, select Start Security ON/OFF With Traces from the Diagnostic Functions folder to start the server with traces.
  2. Reproduce the problem you encountered.
  3. In the iWay Software, iWay 77 DataMigrator Server program folder, select Stop.
  4. In the iWay Software, iWay 77 DataMigrator Server program folder, select Diagnostic Functions, then Save Diagnostic. Reply to the prompts to specify a location to save diagnostics and generate a list of the application directories that contain the files used to reproduce the problem.

    A diagnostics archive is created with a default name of sdyymmdd_hhmmss.zip.

  5. Upload the log file to Information Builders.
