Adding E-Mail Messages to a Process Flow

How to:

Before you create e-mail messages for a process flow, you must complete or verify your e-mail notification setup in the Web Console. For details about accessing the E-Mail Notification tab and configuring SMTP Services, see Configuring DataMigrator Server Operations.

Once SMTP services are properly configured, you can construct your messages within the process flow. You can include e-mail messages at any point in the flow.

Procedure: How to Add an E-Mail Object to the Process Flow
  1. Drag the E-mail E-mail Icon icon from the toolbar into the process flow workspace.
  2. Double-click the E-mail object to open the E-Mail attribute pane, as shown in the following image. You can attach files to the e-mail by checking the Attach File check box, and entering a file name in the field and selecting an extension from the pull-down menu that appears once the box is checked.

  3. Enter the e-mail addresses of one or more recipients in the Address To box. Separate multiple addresses with semi-colons (;).
  4. Enter a subject in the Subject box.
  5. Enter your message in the Message Text box.
  6. Close the pane.
  7. Click the Save button to update the process flow.

Note: You can also add e-mail properties from the Web Console.
