The Console Log toggles by selecting/deselecting Console Log from the View menu or Atl+9.

If you right-click the console log, the following options are available:

View Console Log

Displays the log file in a separate window.

Clear Console Log Window

Deletes all information from the message window.

Clear Console Log File

Deletes all information from the message window log file.

Copy Selection

Copies items highlighted in the Message window to the clipboard.

The Server Session Log is available by right-clicking a server in the navigation pane, and selecting Server Session Log from the context menu. The log will then open in the workspace, as shown in the following image.

The Server Session Log toolbar becomes active when you view a server session log. It contains the following buttons:

Button	Function
	Report Displays the report in spreadsheet format.
	Server messages Displays the server messages generated by the report.
	Refresh Reruns the report.
	Save As Saves the report as a file.
	Print Prints the report.
	Copy as text Copies the selected report text to the clipboard.
	Export to Excel Exports the report as an Excel spreadsheet. Note: This option is available for Alpha and Original output only.
	Find Allows you to search for server messages.
	Filter Allows you to apply the following filters to the log messages: Focus, Sql/mdx, Errors, Messages, Timestamp, and No Delay.
	Clear Messages Clears messages from the server session log.
