The following section describes how to export data quality profiles in iWay Data Profiler.

Procedure: How to Export a Data Quality Profile
  1. Click the Export icon in the Manage Data Quality Profiles page.

    The Export Data Quality Profile page opens, as shown in the following image.

  2. Select one of the inputs from the Input Data drop-down list.
  3. Select any of the following options in the Type of Analysis area to export:
    • Summary
    • Primary Key
    • Data Rules
    • Dependency
    • Foreign Key
  4. The default format to export is AHTML. For the AHTML Format, the Type of Analysis area displays the following option:

    When more than one type of analysis is selected, then multiple AHTML reports are displayed in the browser or sent as an email.

    Note: When exporting Data rules and primary key profiles, the overall data quality will show the success and failure percentage for all the rules. Percentages will not be charged based on the selection of rules.

  5. Select either Yes to send report(s) as an email attachment or No to view the output in a browser.

    Note: If Yes is selected, then provide a valid email address to the desired recipient. Multiple recipients can be specified by using a comma (,) as a separator for the email addresses.

  6. Click Export.

    A success status message is displayed.

Drill-through Security

This section describes how to view the drill-through details of a profile that is sent as an email attachment from iWay Data Profiler (iDP).

Procedure: How to View Drill-through Details of a Profile in an Email Attachment
  1. Click the AHTML email attachment link for the profile.

    The attachment of the AHTML file that was sent in email opens, as shown in the following image.

  2. Click the link in the data table to access the drill-through functionality, which allows you to view individual records that comprise the generated statistics.
  3. To view drill-through data, you must log on to the iWay Data Profiler console. For more information, see the iWay Data Profiler Getting Started Guide.

    Only users who have the Drill-through option set by an administrator in the Roles section of the Security Center, are able to view drill-through information, as shown in the following image.

    For more information on defining users and their roles in iDP, see Managing the Security Center.

    Note: Users who have login credentials for iDP, but do not have drill-through privileges and the privilege to view the drill-through details for the corresponding profile that has been sent will receive the following error message:
