This section provides release notes for the iWay Application Adapter for mySAP in iSM Version 6.1.8.
When sending SAP Native or Flat IDoc encoding into the adapter for transmission to SAP, the encoding must be set so that the field positions and offsets are correct. When using an iSM File listener, the encoding must be set in the File listener and in the adapter target for proper synchronization of encoding settings. Set the encoding in the adapter by using the IDOC(flat) encoding parameter in the adapter target. Set this value to any supported Java Canonical Name for Basic Encoding.
Remember that any selected encoding must also have a corresponding character set on the system where the adapter is installed. This parameter is available in iSM Version 6.1.7 and higher.
The SAP SNC parameters are documented in the SAP adapter documentation as this functionality is available from the SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo).
It is strongly recommended that if SNC is to be used with the adapter, a SAP Router be configured with SNC enabled rather than direct SNC from the adapter. This is the strongest, most secured method of connection.
Because SNC depends on the validity of certificates issued by the local SAP host server, it is the responsibility of the local SAP support staff to ensure the validity of SNC certificates and correct configuration of the SAP Router and SAP SNC.
The adapter returns exceptions for all three cases, but some BAPIs issue W (Warning) when returning successful results. As a workaround, set the Error Handling parameter to Creates Error Document.
JCO_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: No RFC authorization for function module
For more information on this issue, see SAP Notes 931252 and 1693446, regarding SAP Gateway security restrictions on the SAP system. If the most restrictive option (9) is selected, then for every function or function group used by the adapter, the S_RFC authorization object must be assigned explicitly with "RFC_TYPE" = "FUGR" (and in newer systems, "FUNCTION"), "RFC_NAME" = name of group (or function), and "ACTIVITY" = "16" ("Execute"). This authorization object must be assigned to every user ID that will use the adapter.
This release of iWay Technology Adapter for .NET is additionally certified against .NET framework Version 4.5. For more information, see the iWay Technology Adapter for .NET User's Guide.
This section provides release notes that are applicable for specific iWay E-Business Adapters in iSM Version 6.1.8. For more information, see the iWay Integration Solution for EDI User's Guide, iWay Integration Solution for SWIFT User's Guide, and iWay Integration Solution for HIPAA User's Guide.
Correction to acknowledgement agent relating to input of control numbers from the process flow.
Added a new component (EDIWrapperAgent) that will reformat EDI style data into 80 column wrapped data.
com.ibi.edaqm.XDEDIError.setData_element_syntax_code(I)V - No such method error.
If you receive this error, rename or remove the iwhl7.jar file from the \lib directory.
If you decide to use the second workaround, it is recommended that you open a support case with customer support unless you are extremely familiar with ebix structures.
