Root Node

How to:

There can only be one root node defined per hierarchy. Although an empty hierarchy may contain no root node, such a hierarchy will provide no run-time data and will be unavailable for publishing to a hierarchy management system (HMS).

You can define a root node using the Root Node wizard. This wizard allows you to specify a root node name, description, and attributes.
