The iWay Hierarchy Manager plugin was developed and tested on Eclipse IDE Version 3.7 (Indigo). For other applications based on Eclipse Version 3.7 (for example, iWay Integration Tools) installation instructions are identical.
Eclipse IDE Version 3.7 (Indigo) can be downloaded using the following link:

Installation packages are available for the following systems:
You can also use Eclipse Classic if there is no requirement for other specific functionality.
Eclipse requires having a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installed. A JRE can be downloaded using the following link:
To check your version of Java, run the following command from your command line:
java -version
The Java versioning information is displayed in the following format:
C:\Users\HomeUser>java -version java version "1.7.0_15" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_15-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode, sharing)
The Install wizard opens, as shown in the following image.
The Install wizard allows you to download plugins from existing Eclipse repositories, or, as in this case, specifying your own plugins.
The Add Repository dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
If this repository was delivered as a .zip archive, then click Archive and specify a path to the archive.
The plugin will now appear in the list of available plugins for the specified repository.
The iWay Hierarchy Manager plugin appears in the list of available plugins for the specified repository, as shown in the following image.
The Install Details pane opens, as shown in the following image.
The Review Licenses pane opens.
The Installing Software dialog box opens and provides a status of the installation progress, as shown in the following image.
After the iWay Hierarchy Manager plugin installation has completed, the Software Updates dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
Important: The iWay Hierarchy Manager plugin uses a set of external bundles that will be downloaded from the following Indigo software repository automatically during the installation:
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/
Your Eclipse instance must have the access to the internet to proceed with the installation. Otherwise, an error is generated and the installation will be aborted.
The Open Perspective dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
The Eclipse instance changes to reflect the Hierarchy Perspective, as shown in the following image.

The About Eclipse dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
The Eclipse Installation Details dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
Eclipse will look in the same repository that was defined during the installation from which the iWay Hierarchy Manager plugin was installed. If a newer version is found, then the updates will be applied to the current Eclipse instance.
The About Eclipse dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
The Eclipse Installation Details dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
The uninstallation wizard will require you to restart your Eclipse instance after the uninstallation process is complete.
