iWay Explorer is a GUI tool that uses iWay Adapters to create schemas and Web services for use with iWay components or other XML or Web services based programs. It allows you to quickly generate and publish a Web service from objects and procedures in many different systems, without requiring in-depth knowledge of the object or system.

There are several versions of iWay Explorer. You only need to use one:

• iWay Designer iWay Explorer is integrated with iWay Designer. See Configuring iWay Designer iWay Explorer for configuration information.
• Eclipse Plugin iWay Explorer can be embed in the open source Eclipse development environment using iWay Integration Tools for Eclipse. See Configuring Eclipse iWay Explorer for configuration information.

There is normally no reason to configure more than one iWay Explorer. If you are using iWay Designer then you can use the iWay Explorer embedded in iWay Designer.

Note: iWay Connector for JCA is not supported with the iWay Designer iWay Explorer.
