Loading the Addrest Project Using iWay Integration Tools

This section describes how to load the Addrest project into your iWay Integration Tools (iIT) workspace. These instructions assume you have access to iIT or have an Eclipse instance with the appropriate iIT plug-ins installed.

Procedure: How to Load the Addrest Project

To load the Addrest project:

  1. Open iWay Integration Tools.

    The Workspace Launcher dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select the workspace you want to use for iWay Integration Tools and click OK.

    The iWay Integration Tools interface opens, as shown in the following image.

  3. Switch to the Integration Explorer perspective, right-click, and select Import from the context menu.

    The Import dialog box opens.

  4. Expand the General folder, select Existing Projects into Workspace, and click Next.

    The Import Projects dialog box opens.

  5. Ensure that the Select root directory option is selected and click Browse.

    The Browse For Folder dialog box opens.

    All demo applications that are packaged with iWay Enable are located in the following directory

    iwayhome\etc\enable\demos

    where:

    iwayhome

    Is the location where iWay Service Manager (iSM) is installed.

    Note: If your iSM server is remote, you can download the Eclipse-based project archive for the Addrest demo application using the following URL, and import this archive into iWay Integration Tools.

    http://server-context/ism/enable/archive/

    where:

    server-context

    Is the host name and port where iSM is available.

  6. In the Browse For Folder dialog box, select the addrest folder and click OK.

    You are returned to the Import dialog box.

  7. Click Finish.

    The addrest folder is now available in the Integration Explorer perspective, as shown in the following image.

    The Addrest demo application is comprised of several components, which include Web pages, transforms, register sets, and process flows.

  8. Expand the addrest folder to view the subfolders that contain all the related components that are used by this demo application.

    You are now ready to publish the Addrest demo application components to iWay Service Manager.
