Design-Time Installation

For design-time integration, iWay Data Quality Center (DQC) is currently packaged within iWay Integration Tools (iIT). You must also have a valid license to use iWay DQC within iIT.

Procedure: How to Install iWay Data Quality Center for Design-time Integration

To install iWay Data Quality Center for design-time integration:

  1. Download the .ZIP file for iWay Integration Tools (with DQC support) from http://techsupport.ibi.com. For example: 
    iIT-0.2.2-DQC-5.3.0.zip
  2. Unzip this file into a new folder under your iWay_Home directory. For example: 
    C:\Program Files\iWay60\iIT_DQC
  3. Ensure that the following directories and files are available:

  4. Copy the DQC license file (for example, license_iway_5.3.0_limited_20091109.plf) to the following directory: 
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_account

    where:

    user_account

    Is the name of your user account that is configured for your system.

Runtime Installation

For runtime integration, iWay Data Quality Center (DQC) is packaged as an extension to iWay Service Manager (iSM). You must also have a valid license to use iWay DQC within iSM.

Procedure: How to Install iWay Data Quality Center for Runtime Integration

To install iWay Data Quality Center for runtime integration:

  1. Install iWay Service Manager Version 6.0.1 and ensure that the Data Quality Center option is selected during the installation sequence under Extensions.

    Once the installation is completed, the following directories and files are available:

    iWay_Home\etc\dqc

    where:

    iWay_Home

    Is the directory where iWay Service Manager is installed.

    iWay_Home\etc\manager\extensions\iwxdq.jar

  2. Ensure that the following directories and files are available: 
    iWay_Home\etc\dqc

    where:

    iWay_Home

    Is the directory where iWay Service Manager is installed.

  3. Copy the DQC license file (for example, license_iway_5.3.0_limited_20091109.plf) to the iWay_Home directory. For example: 
    C:\Program Files\iWay60
