The following procedures describe how to create a repository for iWay Explorer, edit repository properties, and display adapters under the repository node.
To create a repository for iWay Explorer:
The New iWay Repository dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
The next iWay Repository Configuration dialog box opens, as shown in the following image.
To access the standalone iBSP that is installed as part of iWay Service Manager, provide the following URL:
http://host:9000
where:
Is the host name where iWay is installed.
The new repository appears in the Navigator pane under the Repositories node. Expand the new repository to reveal the Services and Events nodes. The default adapters under the Services node are iWay and RDBMS, and RDBMS under the Events node. The following image shows an expanded repository named SampleConfig.
Descriptive information (for example, name and URL) for the repository to which you have connected appears in the right pane.
To edit the properties of a repository:
The Properties dialog box opens and includes the General, Connector, and Adapter Settings tabs, as shown in the following image.
The General tab allows you to review and change the repository name and description.
The Connection tab, shown in the following image, allows you to review and change the repository URL.
The Adapter Settings tab, shown in the following image, allows you to filter the list of adapters that are displayed in the Services and Events nodes.
The new repository properties are now in effect.
The following procedure describes how to filter the list of adapters that are displayed in the Services and Events nodes.
The Properties dialog box opens.
The following image shows an example of the Adapter Settings tab contents.
If you want to move the entire list of adapters, click the double-right arrow button.
The selected adapter(s) appears under the Services and Events nodes.
