Creating a Fixed-Width Dictionary

How to:

iWay Transformer supports a fixed-width document as either input or output. You can create a Fixed-Width Dictionary for either input or output configuration. The procedure in this topic focuses on input configuration, although some steps apply to both input and output.

You will use Dictionary Builder to create the structure for a new Fixed-Width Dictionary, based on the default dictionary. Dictionary Builder will generate an XML file that reflects the graphical representation of the structure that you build.
