Installation Prerequisites

In this section:

iWay Application Adapter for Salesforce Installation Files

The following components must be installed and configured before installing the iWay Application Adapter for Salesforce:

iWay Service Manager (running with Java 1.5). For more information, see the iWay Installation and Configuration Guide and the iWay Service Manager User's Guide.
Salesforce SaaS service. To purchase the Salesforce SaaS service, go to the following Web site:

Note: You must also have a Salesforce Enterprise, Unlimited, or Developer Edition account for connetion purposes. Group and Professional editions do not support the Salesforce API.

Public IP address for your system that is recognized as a trusted IP address by Salesforce.
Configured Salesforce user account that is API Enabled and has a password that does not expire.
Third-party application (Optional).

iWay Application Adapter for Salesforce Installation Files

Ensure that the following files are available:

iwsforce.jar - Java archive containing the core adapter classes.
sforce.jar - Java archive containing the compiled Salesforce partner WSDL APIs.

For an iWay Service Manager deployment only:

iwaf.jar - Java archive containing the iWay adapter framework.
iwutil.jar - Java archive containing the iWay utility classes.
iway60.jar - Java archive containing the Apache Axis classes (Version 1.2).
