When a WebFOCUS request is received by the WebFOCUS client, it is passed to the WebFOCUS API. The path to the location of the WebFOCUS configuration files is then detected from the webfocus_client_root parameter in the web.xml file in the WebFOCUS web application.The following diagram illustrates the WebFOCUS Client files that process a WebFOCUS request:
