ReportCaster Console Options

When you successfully access the ReportCaster Console, the ReportCaster Console interface opens, as shown in the following image.

The ReportCaster Console options are:

Server Status. View the primary, and if configured, the failover Distribution Server status and perform failover management tasks.

Job Status. Generate a list of scheduled jobs that are in the ReportCaster Distribution Server queue. Depending on the status of the job, you can then delete a job, change its priority, or run a log report.

Job Info. Generate a list of schedules based on criteria you specify. The resulting list may then be used to view, run, or delete schedules.

Log Info. Generate a list of schedules based on criteria you specify. The resulting list may then be used to view a log report or purge a log transaction. These actions may be performed for specific schedules or for all schedules.

Execution ID. Add, change, or delete an Execution ID, which is a valid user ID that is used to run a scheduled task on a specified server. You can also change the password of an Execution ID.

Tools. Open the Global Schedule Update interface where you can globally replace values in the ReportCaster Repository.

Logoff. Log off the ReportCaster Console.
