Data Manipulation Language (DML) is a deprecated option for SET SMARTMODE. When SET SMARTMODE=ON is used, it will include the monitoring of SQL Data Manipulation Language commands. SQL INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and other select DML commands will also be monitored. For a complete list of DML commands that are monitored, see the Resource Analyzer Administrator's and User's Manual.
