WebFOCUS components are customizable Web modules that use a proprietary API based on HTTP and allow developers to build modules that repackage and share WebFOCUS content. Developers can design WebFOCUS components in any language, including C++, Java, and Perl. Each WebFOCUS component consists of two Java Server Pages.
Note: Every WebFOCUS component must have a .jsp file, which contains basic WebFOCUS functionality. An additional file, userprefs.jsp, is necessary for customizing a WebFOCUS component.
