Managing Standard Report References

The Saved Parameter Report has metadata and procedure code that references to the Standard Report from which it was created. The Saved Parameter Report must be able to locate the Standard Report in order to run successfully. When a Standard Report that a Save Parameter report references is moved to a different domain, the Save Parameter Report must be updated to reference the Standard Report in the new location.

From Developers Studio, the internal Standard Report reference that the Save Parameter Report currently has is available in the Properties dialog box. To access the Properties dialog box, right-click the report and select Properties. The following image shows a Properties dialog box for a Saved Parameter Report with the Standard Report reference.

The Standard Report Reference setting shows the current location of the Standard Report that the Saved Parameter Report is referencing.

To change the reference to reflect the new location of the Standard Report, from the Referenced Domain drop-down list, select the domain that is the new location.

Click OK to save the selection. Developer Studio notifies the MR Administrator that the Save Parameter Report procedure (FEX) requires that one -INCLUDE statement be changed to reference the Standard Report in the selected domain, and asks if Developer Studio should make the change.

Select Yes. Developer Studio displays a notification window that informs you of the status of the processing. Click OK.

When No is selected, the MR Administrator must edit the Saved Parameter report to change the -INCLUDE statement to have the internal Standard Report Reference value.
