Using the Layout Tab in InfoAssist Video

Hello, this video walks you through the Layout Tab. The Layout tab provides access to page display and layout options in InfoAssist.

Highlight the Layout tab and ribbon.

You can use the Page Setup group to customize the margins, orientation, page size, units of measurement, and page number styles for the output of your report.

Highlight the Page Setup group.

Select Margins to set the margin values. Select Orientation to set the orientation of your report to portrait or landscape.

Highlight the Margins button.

Highlight the Orientation button.

Select Size to choose the size of the paper for printing output. Select Units to choose the unit of measurement used for customizing the dimensions of your report or chart.

Highlight the Size button.

Highlight the Units button.

For reports only, select Page Numbers to turn page numbering on and off.

Highlight the Page Numbers button.

The Size and Arrange group is only available in Document View. You can use these tools to edit the size and alignment of your document.

Highlight the Size and Arrange group.

Also for reports only, you can use the Report group to customize report spacing settings.

Highlight the Reports group.

When you select Cell Padding and then Custom, the Cell Padding dialog box opens, and you can set specific values to control the amount of space inserted between rows and columns in a report.

The Autofit Column button limits the width of columns in a report to be no wider than the largest value in each column.

Highlight the Cell Padding button.

Highlight the Autofit Column button.
