Hello and Welcome to Part 3 of this Getting Started InfoAssist Video.

Creating Charts in InfoAssist is very easy.

Start with a general 3 bar display of generic data (the default in IA).

To get started, add fields to the chart.

Simply go to the Data Panel. Double-click on the fields that you want to add to your chart.

They will be added to the chart.

Double-click Profit, Cost of Goods Sold, and Product Type.

Select the Format tab and then the Chart Types group, which will allow to edit your charts visually.

Right now, we have a bar chart selected but of course, you can always change it to a pie chart.

Selecting the Other button opens the Other Chart Types dialog box where you can select different types of charts.

Select the Format tab.

Select the Chart Types group.

Show Bar chart. Select Pie Chart to show different type of chart.

Select the Other button. Show the Other Chart Types dialog box.

Below the selected Chart type, there is a description of the chart that is currently selected.

We will select the Vertical Stack Bars type. The chart changes.

Show the description and the selection of the Vertical Stack Bars type and click OK.

When you have finished editing your chart, simply click Run and the chart output is displayed.

Click Run to display the chart output.
