The following variables in the Configuration, Startup Parameters section of the WebFOCUS Administration Console are used to authenticate access to the WebFOCUS Administration Console:

• ADMINISTRATORS. Specifies the user IDs that have administrator privileges when they access the Console.
• IBIWFC_AUTHENTICATION. Defines how users accessing the Console will be authenticated.

The IBIWFC_AUTHENTICATION variable now provides an option (MR) to authenticate access to the WebFOCUS Administration Console using Managed Reporting credentials. Other variable options are no authentication, WEB, EDA, EDA node, and WEBHDR. When you choose the MR option, the user ID specified for ADMINSTRATORS must be a valid Managed Reporting user ID.
