When creating parameter selection prompts for the Auto Prompting facility, in addition to Dynamic and Static selection prompts, you can create a Simple parameter selection prompt. The Simple parameter prompt displays a text box in the Auto Prompting facility, where the user types a parameter to use when running the report.
