Several text formatting markup tags for a text object are supported when you create an active dashboard in Document Composer or InfoAssist.

The font tag supports three attributes:

• face
• size
• color

The syntax is

<font face="font" size=n color=color_name_or_code>text</font>

where:

font

Is the name of the font.

n

Is the size of the font.

color_name_or_code

Is the color of the font, specified as either the name of the color or the HTML hexadecimal value of the color.

text

Is the text that you are formatting for display on the active dashboard. The following are the supported text styles:

• Bold. The syntax is:

  <b>text</b>

• Italic. The syntax is:

  <i>text</i>

• Underline. The syntax is:

  <u>text</u>

• To display the text Test1 in New Century Schoolbook:

  <font face="New Century Schoolbook">Test1</font>

• To display the text test2 in 12 point Times:

  <font face="Times" size=12>test2</font>

• To display the text Test3 in blue using 14 point Times New Roman:

  <font face="Times New Roman" color=#0000FF size=14>Test3</font>

• To display the text Test4 in blue using 8 point Times New Roman:

  <font size=8 face="Times New Roman" color=#0000FF>Test4</font>
