The URLContentRetriever.jar file delivered as part of the Open Portal Services must be readable by the PeopleSoft Application Server. To make the file readable, copy it from the WebFOCUS Open Portal Services installation location to a location that can be searched from the PeopleSoft Application Server.

  drive:\ibi\WebFOCUS77\worp\components\BEAPortlets

  where:

  drive

  Is the location where WebFOCUS Business Intelligence Dashboard is installed.

• Location in PeopleSoft to copy to:

  [PeopleSoft File Server]\class

Update the PeopleSoft Application Server configuration file (psappsrv.cfg) found in the PeopleSoft file server by adding the URLContentRetriever.jar to the Add to CLASSPATH setting.

Locate the PSTOOLS section and modify the following line:

Add to CLASSPATH=[PeopleSoft File Server]\class\URLContentRetriever.jar

Stop and restart the application server with the psadmin utility to begin referencing the open portal services.
