The DB2 Extender is not available on the z/OS platform for version 7 Release 7 and higher. This situation will be addressed in the future releases.

The DB2 Extender is now available on the z/OS platform for Version 7 Release 6 and Higher. (Note that samples and install jobs were first included in Version 7 Release 6.5.) For details, see the latest Extender for DB2 manual.
