The Model Explorer is a tab in iWay MDS that allows you to configure and manage a Model Project. A Model Project consists of the following components, which are also referred to as artifacts:

• Connected Systems
• MDS Logical Model
• Database
• Transformations
• Batch Interfaces
• Files

The following shows a sample Model Project and the corresponding artifacts in the Model Explorer tab.
