The node holds a configuration of systems that the MDM Hub will process inbatch and/or online modes. Each Connected System has source model, source mapping, and a batch load operation setting, as described in the list below.

• Source Model. The connected system model provides structure and a description of source extracts.
• Source Mapping. Definition of an entity level mapping between a connected system model and the Instance Layer (for example, canonical layer)
• Batch Load Operations. Definition of several types of batch load operations. Both batch full and delta loads are available. If a connected system provides only online web service interfaces, no batch load operations are required.

General

Basic setting unique for each load operation. Usually defines entities loaded and operation behavior.

Advanced

Setting of advanced behavior such as Source Deletion Strategy (for example, record activity) and Ignored Comparison Columns. Both settings overwrite global settings in the Preferences tab)
