In general, to upgrade the metadata model project, you
must perform the following tasks:
Export the Metadata Model project Version 8.
Import it into iWay MDS Version 9.0.1 or higher.
Convert the Metadata Version 8 configuration items to the new
structure (Version 9.0.1 or Higher) using the mapping provided in
the table below.
Resolve possible errors and warnings reported in the iWay MDS
Properties dialog.
Try to generate the configuration for the entire project (right-click
on your project in Model Explorer and click Generate,
selecting the default location).
Map the configuration nodes from the model in version 8 to version
9.0.1 or higher. Custom mapping is required based on your model.
