The upgrade procedure is composed of the following major tasks:

• Upgrading the iWay MDS metadata model project.
• Updating project configurations, file names, and project structures.
• Upgrading and reviewing iWay MDS configuration files.
• Upgrading iWay MDS Database storage.
• Deleting obsolete files and Database objects.

After the upgrade process is successfully completed, the solution will be fully operational.

This upgrade procedure is designed for the General CDI project only. The Transactional CDI project is not supported.

Note: Before you start working on upgrades, make sure to backup the whole iWay MDS Model Project, iWay MDS storage (DB backup), and all other related content.
