This section lists and describes the current constraints
and limitations for the iWay Log Event Adapter for MS SQL.
DDL (Data Definition Language) operations (for example,
schema changes or alter statements) are not captured and replicated.
The following data types are not supported for data capture:
BLOB updates.
User-defined data types.
Collection data types (SET, MULTISET, LIST, and ROW data types).
If you are monitoring multiple databases on an SQL server, then
connect with a single user who has access to multiple databases.
The server-side components can only provide data as that data
is changing. It does not provide an initial snapshot of the contents
of a table. If the target table needs to be populated, it has to
be loaded externally before any CDC operations can begin.
