The iWay Data Profiler home page includes five tabs that correspond to the various iWay Data Profiler features, as shown below:

Manage

• Data Quality Profiles. The Data Quality Profiles tab is shown in the following image.

  

  Profiling is a way to gather, view, and analyze general information about data. This facility displays the created Data Profiles and allows you to create, view, edit, export, and delete Data Profiles.

• Data Quality Metrics. The Data Quality Metrics tab is shown in the following image.

  

  Data Quality Metrics compute the failure and success rate for each input row and outputs the result together with the input rows. This facility displays the created Data Quality Metrics and allows you to create, view, edit, export, and delete the Data Quality Metrics.

Compare

• Data Quality Profiles. The Data Quality Profiles tab is shown in the following image.

  

  This facility allows you to compare selected common data among the selected Data Profiles.

• Data Quality Metrics. The Data Quality Metrics tab is shown in the following image.

  

  This facility allows you to compare the same Data Quality Metrics for different time periods to show the quality of data over a period of time.

Plan

• Plan for Data Quality Profiles. The Profile tab is shown in the following image.

  

  This application allows you to automate the process of uploading Data Quality Profiles in iWay Data Profiler.

• Plan for Data Quality Metrics. The Data Quality Metrics tab is shown in the following image.

  

  This application allows you to automate the process of uploading Data Quality Metrics in iWay Data Profiler.

Plugins

• Custom Report. The Custom Report tab is shown in the following image.

  

  This facility displays the created custom report and allows you to create, edit, and delete the custom reports.

  Note: This tab is only displayed if you have Custom Reports access privileges.

Security

• Security Center. The Security Center tab is shown in the following image.

  

  This tab allows administrators to limit access to iWay Data Profiler by creating, editing, and deleting folders, groups, users, and their roles.

  Note: Users logged on with administrator privileges can only view this tab.
