The iWay Hierarchy Manager plugin allows you to import data into your hierarchy model using the following templates:

• Generic template. Template with a predefined structure. The generic template generates run-time dynamic data that is embedded in the iWay Hierarchy Manager plugin. This template assists you during the thought process in building basic structures of future hierarchies. Generic template data contains static and dynamic nodes together with flat file data sources, node attributes, and mappings. Entities are not included, since entities require a working database connection that cannot be transformed and provided with the template.
• Imported template (from project template). Originates from a hierarchy project with a predefined structure. Imported templates may result in the generation of run-time dynamic and entity data and can be used as a full-valued hierarchy. All hierarchy elements and metadata (publishing information, create dates, and so on) will be copied without any modifications.
