For root and static nodes, dynamic placeholders can be cut from the Design view of the Editor, or from the Design and Objects folders in the Hierarchy Manager pane by pressing Ctrl + X on the keyboard or selecting the Cut option from the context menu. The parent is cut from all associations by default.

The user can cut a whole hierarchy structure (with a root node) or a particular branch (parent with its associations) in order to integrate it to an existing or another hierarchy project.

The user however, cannot cut multiple nodes at a time.
