iTPM JSON API is used in conjunction with the iSM nHTTP listener and can be secured as a standard iSM nHTTP listener application. That means SSL can be enabled on the listener and custom authentication can be performed.

In order to make sure no unauthorized user connects to JSON , set the allowable clients in the iTPM listener, as shown in the following image.
