This section lists and describes new features that are
available in the 6.0.1 release of iWay Trading Partner Manager (iTPM).
The iTPM
Web application is redesigned using AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and
XML) and conforms to the Web 2.0 standard.
WebFOCUS is
no longer required to utilize iTPM. Instead, iTPM is fully integrated with
iWay Service Manager (iSM) version 6.0.1.
iTPM supports
many-to-one relationships. Trading partners can be identified via
isa, gsa, or a combination of any custom attributes.
iTPM supports:
Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g, and 11g; MS SQL Server 2005 and higher; and MySQL
version 5.0 and higher.
iTPM supports
the H2 Database (H2DB), which can be configured as an in-memory database.
iTPM uses
an iSM data provider for connection pooling.
iTPM can be
configured to run on SSL and TLS through the nHTTP listener configuration.
iTPM can be
configured to perform authentication through Message and Basic digest,
using the nHTTP listener configuration.
iTPM can be
configured to authenticate using the following iWay Service Manager 6.0.1
Authentication Modules: Database, Flat file, and Active directory.
iTPM has been
separated from iWay Activity Monitor (iAM). iTPM uses its own authentication
and no longer requires iAM to be installed.
Additional
runtime functions are available to obtain data from the iTPM repository.
iTPM SQL scripts
are executed automatically based on the target database and no longer
need to be executed separately.
Many of the
issues that were experienced in previous releases of iTPM have been resolved
in the 6.0.1 release.
