Problem:

When using a JDK 1.5 environment, the XML Digital Signature components throw exceptions when starting iWay Service Manager and do not load.

Solution:

The XML Digital Signature extension requires several features found in the JDK 1.6 implementation. When using a JDK1.5 environment, you must confirm that the required javax.xml.crypto.jar file is in the class path, which is placed into the following directory during installation:

<iWayHome>/lib

This .jar should be provided with the installation or can be obtained from the distributor.
