The iWay Log Event Adapter for Microsoft SQL (MS SQL) is currently delivered as a patch, which must be applied to an existing 6.0.1 installation of iWay Service Manager (iSM). In future releases, an iWay CDC option will be available directly from the main iSM installation utility.

Before installing, make sure that the j2ee.jar file is copied to the following directory:

<iway_home>/lib

Is the location on your system where iSM is installed.

This section lists and describes prerequisite information for the iWay Log Event Adapter for MS SQL.

Client Machine

• iWay Service Manager Version 6.0.1 and higher, which must be installed under a 32-bit path (for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\iWay60).

• ApexSQL Log API.
• Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5 SP1.
• JRE Version 5.0 and higher.
• Microsoft ActiveX Data Access Objects Library (ADO) (MDAC) Version 2.8 and higher.
• Visual C++ Redistributable 2005.

MS SQL Server Machine

• Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5 SP1.
• Visual C++ Redistributable 2005.
• Verify that the MS SQL Server database is up and running.
